Currently I have a 400w 2 channel amp, 600w sub, 6x9(said to be 500w but I have my doubts) and the standard VX front door speakers.

Atm the sub is only amped, i'm looking to add a second amp, amp the rear 6x9 and change the door speakers and amp them.

Will the JBL 4 channel amp be up to the job? http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=4140

Can anyone recommend me some front door speakers.

What about the standard car battery and alternator? Will these be fine? I have a 1.0L car.

Thanks.

first, u dont need a sub and 6x9s so u mite as well sell them and use the money to get better front comps.
Brands id recommend, Alpine Type R or S, Infinity, Focal, Rainbow, just depends on ur budget!

My parcel shelf has been cut with a template for the 6x9's :(

So i'll need a new 1, will my battery and alternator suffice with 2 amps?

Help, I need to get my ICE sorted properly asap.

How much will the wiring between the batt and alternator cost?

Perhaps I should just dump my Sony HU and get an Alpine?

Why should you ditch your Sony for a Apline yes Apline are better in my veiw but if you like it keep it

Use good cabling and have a good earth all should be sound
Upgrade front to comps apline tyre r or s as they are wicked amp them
Keep the 6x9 and amp them with the same amp as the comps or the sub
And even better amp your sub seprate from your comps
You would have a excellent sound then that only some ideasgood luck mate
