Simple answer, just get coaxials instead, the quality is a load better, and when u do get a decent set up, u can leave them in!

to wire em up u will need about 2M of wire, then connectors(if u want ur shelf to still be removable) terminal blocks, speaker terminals, a crimping tool, and a staple gun to keep the wires in check!

yea but i want something now lol, cant wait that long. 6x9, provide some gd bass while i save up for a sub an amp

any idea, how to get to rear speakers? and how to disconnect/ wire the 6x9 to those wires?

Coaxials are the same cost or cheaper than 6x9s.... so what exactly is ur argument? ive got 13 cm coaxes in my C and they are bassy!
Theres a gap u can get ur hand in to cut the wires from the rear speakers, then just use terminal blocks to join new wire on!

yeah shuv your hand unside that hole, and just cut the speaker wires. Once they've disconnected, you should be able to yank the wire and pull it out through the hole about 12". This is enought to work with IMO. Once you wired it up, just tuck it back inside

make sure u wire the pos and neg up right. i think the wire with the brown stripe on each side is the positive.

i did this wrong and drove round for 2 months with them on half volume, changed them round the other day and i was like wow bass lol

when you have 6x9s. they come with wires and terminals on the end. You put the stripey 6x9 wires, to the stripey car wire, and the terminal wil then only fit on one of the connetors on the 6x9. This is so you cant make a mistake when wiring them up.

dunno how you got it wrong partridge, unless they were second hand..?
