sometimes when i have my headunit on a bit louder it will cut out and then start up about 5 seconds later i have a sony xplod 12 sun and 600 watt amp and it used to be fine but i put vibe components in but didnt wire up the crossover as i think i need another amp could this be the problem as my headuni its 52 w max and needs 45w min for the vibes to work do i need to amp them up to it to work and how would i do this?

do i just wire everything into the crossover then to the amp and then what? or do i need the wires that used to go to the mids and tweeter originally ? im so confused its tunred itno like a differnt topic altogether?

helllp! please

with regards to the comps

exsiting vauxhall wire ---> crossover

crossover -------> woofer

crossover -------> tweeter

then wire the amp into the front speaker wires behind the headunit by removin the wires from the iso block

do either of these:

1) wire the headunit speaker cable into a cross over input. Then wire your 'speaker' to this, and wire your tweeter to this also.

2) set up the amp corrrectly (read the sticky) then run speaker cable from the amplifier into the corss over, then wire up your speaker and tweeter to this.

If your HU is being ghey, try cutting the yellow/red wire and running a direct power feed from batt.
