im thinking of making a fake perspex floor in my boot and having the sub amps neons nd stuff under it becuasue iv worked out with the sub that i have got that if i put the body of the sub in the hub of the wheel in the spare wheel bay ill have enough room to have the top of it coming up through the floor and poking into my boot, ill post pictures when i start making it, the only problem im having is if i need to get to the spare wheel, is how to take everything out quickly and easily.

any sugestions???

Best way to have a good install and be able to get to the spare, is make a box for subs, amps, cd-changer etc. Place them in the boot where you want it, trace round it some how or find dimensions, make a new floor for your boot out of mdf and cover it with leather or carpet.
This floor will hold your box in place so it wont slide around and will make it look smart & tidy, then when u need to get to the wheel, just lift up the MDF floor then the orignal floor is all there.

Hope u understand it.

It would be great if you use a good 'looking' amp and lit it with classy neons.
Also you have to think perspex will scratch so you have to either be prepared to change every so often to keep it looking good or be prepared to live with it being scratched.
Finally, yes it may look good if done right but is it practical? If you have the amp in the middle of your boot you still have the problem of getting the spare wheel out, even with a false floor.

havnt read to whole tread like, but if your putting a sub in your spare wheel well then you have to watch because the bottom of the well will vibrate like nothin else.

i had my 6x9s resting in a peice of wood sunk into the well for like a week when i was makin my install, and there was more rattle outside the car from the well vibrating than there was music!
