Telling People To Search
Below is a post Coops made and then the reply I made to him... I feel its worth while making an annoucement about this and making everyone aware that the search doesnt always work and that instead of just saying search maybe TRY and help the person out or dont say anything at all...

I have to agree with that, the search is poo and most of the time cant find what you want! It only takes one person to mention the word you search for in the whole thread for it to come up so it is really useless sometimes ! :(
Agree 100% - Even me the bloody owner of this site admits how crap vBulletin Search is.... more times than not you cant find anything helpfull at all. Hence why i HATE it when people say search all the time :twisted:
There is currently no way of making the search better... so for now we are stuck with it - and yes we get repeated questions but so does every other forum and instead of just telling members "search" they either dont reply or reply with a link to the thread that all ready contains the info the person wants.
We are a community who are supposed to be here to help each other out and get along etc... IF you know the answer to something or where the answer is then help someone if you have no idea or just want to say search then dont bother posting at all.
From now on if anyone just says search then that post will get removed!!
