hey guys, checked out all the threads for cleaning exhausts and invested in some autosol!! Good stuff but i still cant get my irmy oval clean, i have scrubbed and scrubbed but it aint budging (its the black crap all round the bottom lip - top bit is fine) any ideas? know i cant use anything rough to get it off but am desperate now lol cheers :thumbs:

i use wire wool on the very tips of mine...not on the flats thou as it will scratch it. try a bit of acid wheel clean if you can get it? but wash it off instantly!

Ye I wouldnt use steel wool just use autosol lots of elbow grease and it will eventually come up!!

Also use a pressure hose to get the excess off and sponge it with saopy water then wait for it to dry and then elbow grease and autosol to get it clean thats what i did!! :thumbs:
