Whats best 13cm or 17cm components ?

Money isn't a issue in this as I have a £110 limit so i have choices of both 13cm and 17cm.

I have alphasonik 17cm components at the moment that cost £150 but didn't do much research before buying them so considering changing them if theres something better out there.

Is there less depth issues with 13cm as i know you have to be careful with 17cm as i was nearly caught out with mine

Also if I have a headunit with a 60w built in amp am i best to look for components with the same rating or thereabout ?
For example theres
Rockford Fosgate 13cm comps
with a Power Handling: 50 Watt RMS
Maximum Power Handling: 100 Watts .

Is that better than say...

INFINITY-REFERENCE-5000cs with
75W RMS
225W max power

i would get some 17cm components and you will need an amp to drive them properley, the head unit will drive them but an amp will be miles better.

the 60W built in amp is 60W peak not RMS this is about 18W RMS and even the lower speakers you have above need 50W RMS

I really don't want to amp,I would have to upgrade my battery aswell.

Is there any rule for example,if powering off the headunit don't go for comps over a certian watt or can the speakers be any grade ?

the standard battery would be able to handle a set of amped front components no problem.

It does not matter what the speakers are but if you are powering off the headunit only it is not worth getting any expensive ones.

if a head unit says for example 4x40W that will be putting out about 10W RMS

the alpine high power ones 4x60W will put out about 18W RMS
