I took the glovebox out today to have a look at how you would run cables to the battery for a amp.These pics may be of some use for other members etc so i'll post them up.Click all pics to enlarge

closer look.whats the cables going into the white box ?

Is it were that black cable goes thats the hole to use for a feed thru to the battery ?

This is the other side in the bonnet of where that black cable comes thru.You can see it with the rubber gromet thing round it

Also one quick question is would it be possible to mount the amp at the front of the footwell here ? Or would that just be crap ?

If it can't be mounted there the only other place is the boot coz there aint a lot of room under the passenger seat

yea that's the grommet you use to feed the power cable for the battery.. the black one currently going through is the rear screen wash line. not sure what the ones going into the white box are, and i'd mount the amp in the boot personally

To be honest, those pics are pretty poor. But yes thats the way to do it :thumbs:

how do you get the cable through that grommet, its really tight

push the grommet out toward battery then put some tape round the metal and feed ur power cable through then u just gotta connect earth and phonos n remote and ur done

just make sure you seal the whole up again properly use some silicon sealent or something like that
