Reverse Light Switch Possibly Gonr.its A Little Switch That Sits In The Front Of The Gearbox. You Can Test This To See If Its Gone

yea most likely a fuse, it happened to me the reverse lights are on the same fuse as the fuel injection system and the cigarette lighter so check if the cigarette lighter is working

if the bulbs are ok and fuse is ok, then get a split pin, unplug the reverse light switch, and put the split pin in the switch to bridge it out, and if the reverse lights come on, it need a switch.

REILLYS-C

The Switch Will Sit In The Front Of The Box. And Like Joey Says Get A Split Pin/ Piece Of Wire And Put It Between The 2 Connections,if The Lights Come On You Need A New Switch.quite Common Fault

someone who used to work in a computer repair shop. it was only a joke but i know people can be that stupid. the number of computers we had where all that was wrong was the voltage was set to 120 american rather than 230UK

did you try changing the fuse?

mate itll be your switch has gone. look at the engine, then down to the right, youll see a big grey/silver box, thats the gear box, on the front is a black wire and a white connection. unplug the wire and put a piece of wire into both pin slots, if the lights go on u need a new switch. im away 2 buy mine now.

where abouts in northern ireland are u?? im in belfast

Hey pal listen, my car had the same problem. it is a switch fault on the gearbox. i have had 2 new switches on mine now, they are covered by warrenty and only take a couple of minutes to fit. hope this is useful to u

No chance of any shocks m8 as car electrics is 12 to 14 volts. Unless engine running then theres a few thousand at the sparks plugs. ouch :0
