i bought some leds for the dash and mfd off ultraleds.co.uk, tho two outta the 6 dont work, well one did, and then stopped when i drove a mile. I tried the faulty ones in other sockets (still no luck). Tried the working ones in the sockets of the faulty ones, and they worked fine. Checked polarity etc. etc. Anyone else had the problem of the leds failing?

some are frosted some aren't, i had enough to do the dials and mfd with a few spare. i dont know if the ones that went out were faulty or just not in proply

neways i'll c if i can get my hands on them n c how many i've got

i know i had at least 3 blue working with a couple spare so u'd have enough to do the dials at least and probably the dials and mfd

i'll have a look later on, might test them in my mfd

yea that would be kool i'll buy em, im gonna try and get the dodgy ones swapped, but i think im gonna need spares anyway, as im doubting that the others are gonna last long! i have mastered taking the dash apart, the dash has probably been on the back seat more than its been screwed into the front of the car!

Out of interest, did you find the bulb holders for the leds were a tight fit to go through the mounting holes? Also, do you have a facelift mfd with 3 bulbs or does yours have 2?

i got sum frm ultraleds before an i had a few problems with them but jus fiddle with the position of the connectors on the side with sum pliars an they shud work fine. mine kept cutting out but wen u bring the connectors closer they sit tighter an shud b fine. keep twisting them aswell

The dials are the only bit thats working. MFD isnt, but the dash looks real good no spotting atall! 2 leds for the MFD. Took a pic of the dials, but i havent got a data cable doh.
