I have an 02 1.2 and was going to bid on sxi clock's but after reading somewhere that they need reprogrammed for other car's I thought twice. I thought they would just plug in and that would that but seemingly no.

Is it only Vx that can do this if needed done.....

They can only be reset/programmed in the first 100 miles by Vauxhall as they are part of the immobiliser circuit as well.

It's simple to take them apart and swap over the white mats and silver rings etc if that's what you want to do. Just look in the tutorials section for changing LED's and mat replacement ;)

So what happenes after 100 mile's/so if you really need a new set of clock's.?....

I suppose then that's the easy way, I didnt think of that......but the thing is I'd need to buy s complete set of wrking clock's (about £40-50...sxi model) in order just to get the white face's & ring's.
The only thing about buying/fitting the Lockwood one is are the same when lit up, as I know some white dial's look total crap when lit up.
