View Full Version : Colour Code for Interior Silver on SXi?

Im thinking about sprayin the MFD cover on my 02 SXi but i want it to match the rest of the dash exactly!

Does anybody know of the colour code for this? or if VX sell it?

and also if anybody has had problems spraying it please let me know!

All advice welcome!!

think its the star silver colour maybe?

star silver 3. colour number should be 157. look under bonnet at back near drivers side for the plate with the number and match it with the thread on colour code numbers. bt mine is the same (02 SXi) and is star silver 3

Nothing to do with the car colour whatsoever.

There are 7 variations of the dash colour, go to Halfords and pick up a can of BMW Titanium Silver paint, will match the one I believe you have perfectly.

Thanx Mate! will pick up a can while im at work on friday (Pay day lol!!)

Anyone got any advice as to what i should do to prepare the surface of the MFD to get a smooth finish?

just sand sand sand away start with rough wet-and-dry are work your way to fine then spray away follow these instructions and you will be fine http://www.corsa-c.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=15451
