Heater Control Surround Removal?

Does anyone know how to remove the silver bit around the controls for the heater controls?

i havent trive it as yet but im thinkin about removing my entire center section including the MFD and spraying it all Star Silver, the same colour as my car, i know it isnt a drastic change in colour but i think the metallic could really set it off!

anyone got any advice or pictures of simmilar things done?

just dont buy your paint from halfords, mine was a total different shade, so i got some more from vauxhall and its was still off :(.

well there are 3 different variants of the Star Silver colour

yeh i found that out after i used halfords paint, thats why i went to vaux and it was still a diff shade, the guy behind the desk matched it to my number plate.
