Neon inverter

Gone to install my neons today and blew up my inverter.I've searched high and low to find one but to no avail. Any body able to help me out at all? Can anyone also tell me which is the live feed and the neutral feedback on the cigarette lighter wires please. Mine are brown and black :err:
