View Full Version : speaker prob
my drivers speaker (type s) is kinda cutting out and making terrible fart type noise when driving, but when standstill it seems fine, i took the wiring out and reinstalled it, same is it damaged?
very funny  and it isnt me, its like cutting out and comin back on, it didnt use to do this, and its only 1 speaker...u reckon i shud solder the wires 2gether?
do u have the connector plugs that come with the speaker adaptors, cos they was causing all kinds of problems in mine, I just chopped them off and put terminal (chocolate) blocks on, works much better
is ne of the connector to the speacker touching metal work at all or cud be when on the move
well i extended the speaker cable from door loom with a terminal block and covered it with some black tape, the extended wire goes to input on x over
the speaker cable is also extended and covered, i see no reason how it can touch metal to be honest
im gonna hook 1 speaker up to the amp to see if its all good, or could the speaker be faulty
if ur using the connectors that came with the speaker rings, chuck them away
It could be a fault connection from the spade connector to the driver, but id be suprised if that was the case!
its the connectors that come with the speaker hoops m8 they dont connect properly causing ur speakers to cut off happened to mine cut them off n bought a block works better
