View Full Version : Urgent: AMP POWER CABLEING

Hi, previously I had 4awg cable running from batt to boot, now i got another line of 4awg, however I cant get it from the engine bay (battery) through the hole into glovebox because 2 of them wont fit let alone with the rear washer line.

How do you recommend I do it, easiest way to get this thick cable through!?

Urgently need help as iv been working on it for about 3 hours now, I was going to do it through the fusebox where that goes in behind the glovebox but its too much of a mission to get the fusebox off.

Take it thought the hole on the opposite side...:lol: top of tghe drivers side footwell, where the bonnet release cable comes through behind the washer bottle ;)

your a crack head mate... i thought you were sorted? you only need to run 1x4awg and 1x8awg through it. not 2x4awg :roll:

thats sorted it aint it :thumbs:I drilled hole through the far end of the fusebox, got 2 4awg cables in their,

Martin its future proofed now! Just getting the RCA's and the Bass Controller Wires down the driver side now, the passenger side is ram packed I aint getting no more wires down there, and I still gotta get the cables from the AMP to the front door speakers, think im gonna go down the center of the car.

i have:
4x RCAs,
4x 20amp rated wires,
1xbass level cable,
1x remote lead
2x twin 16awg speaker cable
1x areial lead
all standard wires

all going down one side mate :P just cut off the crappy black plastic rectangle thing that gets in the way, should have enough room mate :P

Its done now anyway just gotta do the speakers & maybe 1 more RCA, can I ask why you have 4 RCA's lol

i didnt say i had power going down that side. and i use sheilded rca's any way.. the remote is only active for a second :thumbs:

my power goes down the other side :)
