OK what would you guys recomend on a £400 (MAXIMUM) budget?
hmmm what do you mean by that?
think he means save money and buy a burger instead :P
Id buy infinity speakers for a start
dont bother with 6x9s, spend the money on better front components
Possibly a JBL amp for sub and one for speakers
subs, id look at JBL, infinity, Fli or Vibe

Vibe CBR10 Active - http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=2456
Make the box yourself, your not that lazy
Sign up to talkaudio.co.uk and have a look on the classifieds as you might pick up some good quality used kit.
This sub and amp is a decent budget system http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/1233.html
Maybe get some Infinity 6500 Components which you can get reasonably cheap now. As for an amp for them.. I have no idea, been wondering for ages myself.
