I don't know which one to get! :? A mate of mine has given me the Alpine KCA-22 iPod adaptor, so if I got the 9847 or the 9854 I could hook up my iPod. But the 9850i doesn't need an adaptor, plus it is "full speed ipod connection" which apparently is better than using the adaptor?!?

I've been looking a Hendon Car Audio (cheapest place I've found) the 9847 is £125, 9850i is £175, and the 1954 is £167. Anybody have any of these headunits that they would recommend? Anyone think getting the 9850 with direct iPod connection is better than using the 9854 with the KCA22 adaptor, or viceversa?

Any advice would be great, I'm thinking of the 9854 plus adaptor at the mo, as the 9850i can't connect to the MFD?

ok well I have the 9847 and I'm pretty desperate to get the full speed 9850ri, it's just so much better my friend's got one and it's fast and a decent headunit if IMO a bit ugly..
Drawbacks would be it only has 1 pre out and no ai net.. thing for a CD changer. Just thought I'd say check out the discounts forum there's a audio shop on there we get club discount on meaning you could get the 9850ri for £161.

Couldn't tell ya about the 9854, don't know anyone who has it looks like it would be a great Ipod unit if it had full speed.

Yeah, I think Im gonna go with the 9850i. Like you said, shame the 9854 doesn't have full speed, I prefer the colour of the 9854 too ;)
