Hi all - I Currently have a Sony Headunit in my car with the standard speakers that the car came with.

I Am looking to put new ones in - I literally want to drop them into where they currently are in the doors. Top and bottom.

Is this possible? And If So, which ones will fit.

I Am looking at spending £100-200
I'm not overly unhappy with current speakers, Just want something with a bit more clarity/bass
Thanks in advance.

yes its possible get some infinity reference speakers 5.25 inch components, power them off the headunit for now but invest in an amp in the future it will make a mega difference.

Hm friend has some of those - wasn't overly impressed.. Fine for treble, but i'm looking for something with some bass.. kinda mini subs in bottom, and the lil tweeters at top.

Rainbow/Focal/DLS/Diamond - are they better for bass compared to the infinity ?

Is there any guideline or design to look for that give more bass than others ? Or is it just pot luck on how bassy they are ?
