Think there are actually a couple of members from here on the Purevaux stand... we also have a spare car pass as for some reason they thought my Corsa B would be attending, would be a bit hard to get it there unless I get a petrol tank, exhaust, steering column and ignition housing all fitted before Sunday.

If you take bottles, hide them well out of site in a blanket or something. THey can and do check. Just take cans, it's much easier (or fill plastic bottles)

VERY BAD NEWS, My car was supposed to be out of the body shop on tuesday, they delayed it and said it would be ready today! Just phoned them and nope its now not going to be ready until monday, which means I cant show my car which I am very very angry about!

Which means I will be coming up in some totally ****ty bog standard 06 1.3CDTI SXi, no showing of the sexy curves in my baby! Absolutly gutted, I guess that means some raggin across them fields or something :censor:

-TurnerNo mate, long as you sit with your car whilst its near/on the stand to move it if they come round to check it, they didnt even check car passes at FastShow I dont think, not sure if they will or not this one doubt it cos they are huge A4 paper which can only sit flat on the dash really n u cudnt see them unless u got pretty close and I dont think they wud bother with all them cars especially when there is 86 just on 1 stand!

I saw loads of Astras and Corsas as I headed into Newport Pagnell and they headed to J14 M1. I also bumped into a guy at my local Chinese who was getting some grub before hitting the road in an Astra who was burnt to a crisp...his ears where blistered!!! He had to wait until sumin like 8pm to be towed back to London!!

What an awesome show. Some cracking cars, cracking strip action. My highlight of the day was the MG SV running 9sec quarters and of course the Fireforce jet car who clocked 260mph and a quarter in 6 secs even with "running problems".

I set up tent opposite u lot was gonna come over and say hi but didnt like too. was in teh green astra.
