I use black trim wax mate. You just put it on a rag and rub it into the plastic. Its comes up well shiney and it doesnt run when it rains!!

i get the over spray with the wilko version of back to black. so what i do now is a give it a light coat and rub it in with a rag and buff it up. it works a treat because it doesnt come out like really sticky, its a nice show room finish. :) hope that helps pal.
i use the autoglym bumper care, its a gel thing, works really well.

i use the autoglym bumper care, its a gel thing, works really well. i use tesco trim spray as the autoglym is crap and it looks like toddlers snot
it may look like that yes, but it lasts, doesnt run and works so will keep using it.
I aint tried the spray but at least your putting it on with a cloth so gotta be asier as you dont have to wipe it off the rest of the car
Meguiars gold class is gd. lasts for over a month and you dont need much. looks clean and shiney all the time

The bumper care stuff from Autoglym is what I favour although I'm considering using my black dye spray that I use on my mats apparently it is suitable for bumpers.

ditto
I use the gel as well, but I can get masking tape at dirt cheap costs, so I polish and wax the car, then mask the paintwork above and below the strips, then use the gel with a paintbrush and a cotton rag to buff it up. then I remove the tape.
works well
