Ipod Questions?

Can anyone tell me what i need to hold or mount an ipod nano inside my corsa? im in america and im going to buy the alpine 9855 headunit with adapter but dont know what or where to buy a bracket or whatever i need to mount it thanks !

i've got exactly the same mate. I've put my adapter behind the dash to the right hand side of the glovebox, and drilled a small hole into the glovebox to pass the wire through, so the ipod can stay in there. Best way I think.

If u dont wanna drill a hole in ya glove box. have a look right down the bottom in the center between the two foot wells under the dash u should be able to get the cord down there and velcro the ipod to the side of the pannel

dont kow if that makes sense to any one else

My wire comes out where the diagnostics port is and i plug it in each time i use it.

The box is mounted on the fire wall behind the glove box.

You can get one without the box now. Much easier !

i have made a holder out of a sponge that goes in the space under wear the headunit goes down infront of the gear stick if that makes sense keeps the ipod still so no rattles and looks nice as well.

mine lives in the glovebox.. much safer in there

you mean the headunit without the alpine adaptor.

its the 9857 i think that vincefenlon has one, they are a member on here
