ive been looking at systems and askin alot of questions lately, like people have been suggesting im going to take my time and buy things i'l want to keep.

though i want a good install im not talkin a god like one (martin's).

i would get an alpine head unit every time

and you can get a 4 channel amp to power the subs and some components

stuck on this head unit until anyone else gets an SD card slot. otherwise yea it would be the 9835R. anyways what amp would i need to be looking at?

this one will do it 500W bridged for the sub and plenty of power on the other two for some comps

ive got that head unit yet to be fitted tho! played with it in halfords and its really good!

ANSWER - cuz with my fone/pda i use a 2GB mini sd card, with it i always update my music as i use the fone/pda as my mp3 player (it runs on a windows OS) so i have all my fav tunes (with 2GB alot of bad old ones 2) but yeh saves burnin new cds every week and findin songs etc.

amp looks good. looks like im gona be savin for a while.

sonic - i looked at it in halfords near me, lovin the screen and all features, SD card slot sets it apart from the rest tho.

(so that stuff look ok? what comps would go well with it bearing in mind i aint made of money...)

if you want to stay with alpine then get some of the type R components or a bit cheaper the type s ones.

and which order should i get these things, the bluetooth car kit is practially done so forget that one.

order i was thinking:
1. HU
2. comps
3. amp
4. sub+box

i got my head unit, then the comps. Couldnt afford an amp and sub at the time so i got an active sub enclosure of a mate i play footy with for £50 to add a little bit of bass.

my comps are running off the hu and sound great so i cant wait for them to be amped up! :D

cool, whel i have sum cheap JBL 6-9s in the back atm as the previous owner had them in, so they do enuf bass for now.

looks like il be doing it in the order you are.

i got a massive list to do though,

tints are done
gettin irmy pre facelift splitter, steiny skirts, irmy back and side panels all sprayed
then all above fitted (by me nd the old man)
then audio etc
(prob get HU and maybe comps while doing body mods as they aint too expensive)
