Hi mate I ahve done, you have to slice one side of the grommet so that it pulls of, then there is a big hole, just looks small with the grommit. I got 4awg through no promlem, just slea it up with bathroom sealant.

I have got 4awg through there mate, was really easy.

Just pull the grommit with pliers or push it out from the inside, thats how i did it.

Stick a bit of washing up liquid (for lube ) on the 4awg wire and push through.

Seal up with some mastick inside and out.

job done

i was trying to get the wire thru the grommet for like 1 hr, so ended up cutting the grommet in 1/2 just so that it protects the washer jet line from rubbing against the metal and sealed it up with bathroom seal

I pulled the grommit out, and just left the wire against the metal. It had loads of insulation anyway and i put a ton of sealent on it so it didnt move. Also securly cable tied it either side so it cant move about at all.

Sorted
