got a problem with my amp, when i put my sub on my cd-player and turn up the volume the amp light keeps going on and off and the sub works then dont work etc.
whats wrong with it i.c.e people LOL
thats my set up below (also got another vibe sub there as well)

you might be overheating the amp and it will go into protection mode

also if it is getting a clipped signal from the headunit it will go into protection mode, this keeps you from damaging the subs

not thick enough cable what are the specs for the amp and sub(s)??

upgrade ur power and earth cable to 4awg and turn down ur sub on ur stereo to 3/4 then alter ur amp the gain n tht to the music u play

thats an old pic, ther not touching each other now. i have got 4awg. got a vibe box 2 (600 watts) and two subs (300) each
i decided that i going to ditch this and have one sub and that amp and a new design :(

it oculd be that your battery isnt powerful enough? i also have the same problem, i have a 55ah battery which isnt running my amp properly, its underpowering. try upgrade the battery to a bigger one, this is your cheapest option.

turn the gain down and it kind of helps :D

ye i think that last option is slightly cheaper than getting a new battery...
