hi i was jus wanting 2 know how many watts RMS the standard front speaker has so i can decide wheather 2 either jus replace wiv the same standard speaker or 2 go n buy some cheap coaxial speakers. if i do this do i jus buy some 13cm ones n will i be able 2 fit them without n adapter. i am only lookin 4 a cheap fix 4 now as im savin up 4 a hu n afta tht ill buy some componants.

13cm will fit...but may need an adaptor depending on the make....the RMS is pitfully low...go and buy some new ones

yeah the screw holes will probably be in different places therefore you will still need the adapter

u cant fit aftermarket speakers without an adaptor, the screw holes are in totally the wrong place.

I personally would replace with the Vauxhall ones, especially if they are under warrantee still.

I have just upgraded mine to some Audio System 6" Ones, which i am really happy with, but they cost £160.

Are you using standard VX headunit?

thnx for ur help guys, however i didnt need 2 go buy ne speakers 4 now coz wen i opened it up the speaker was popping coz the rubber bit had a slight rip on the edge so i thought id try supergluein it togerther n it works fine for now.
