hey i jus went over a speed bump and my hu turned itself off and come bk on at all theres no power goin to it at all!!!!!!!! my ariel has fallen out b4 so do u think the power cables have come loose or summit...

Still under warranty? If so just get vauxhall to give you a new one :p

Its virtually immpossible for the aeriel to fall out the back of a standard vaux stereo as its clipped in and theres "prongs" on the back of the cage to secure the wire.

If its an aftermarket stereo then the chances of the aeriel falling out are alot higher depending its its been fitted professionally.

I get customers coming back to me where theve went over a bump and the stereos not working properly i.e-the cd doesnt play/radio doesnt work etc etc

Quite a few aftermarket stereos have a reset button behind the face-off which 99% of the time solves the prob.Or by unplugging the power behind the unit for a mo does the same effect which should rectify the problem.
