Remap in Scotland [Archive]

Right I really need to find a place that does remap's up here. I have emailed and called a few companies and they say they dont cater for the 1.8SRI C.

I know Nicky Wilko does it, but he is too far away, so dont say "use him". Any help is much appreciated.

Ive got a friend who got his 1.2 remapped, ill find out who did his and if he will do a 1.8. How much is a remap roughly anyway?

O and u still got that front splitter? and the skirts? or u get rid of them?

Still got the whole front bumper with grill and lip. Sold the skirts though.

Ive ordered new irmy grille with the polished lip, irmy brows and gona get my windows tinted. Ive got 250 left over to spend but i dunno what to get, i want skirts, front splitter and maybe something for back but dunno wot to get and also need to know if i can spray brows myself for cheaper than a body shop.

My friend is in the army so ill try my best to get in contact.

Al since your cars silver I wouldn't try spraying brows yourself unless your buying a proper colour match.Cans from halfords are ok but the silvers are really hard to match and can colour will probably not be 100% by the time you have bought,plastic primer,paint and laquer at £5 or £6 a tin plus couple quid for sandpaper for the primer you have spent near £20 and still have to do it yourself.Bodyshop prices aint that bad when you think they are paying for all materials and taking all the hassle away and doing it for you and getting a perfect match.

For the remaps ask pllusy i know he was looking at the options but dunno if he found anyone local to do it on a 1.8

Its the irmy brows, they gave me primer with it. I'm gona go to a vaux dealer and get the paint from there to make sure its a match.

i got a lovely front bumper for sale mate...

its a pre-facelift bumper with a professionally smoothed irmy splitter...

in silver too...would look nice on ur car...

i havent dealt with dastek personaly but i have heard a lot of bad comments about it. i would do a lot of research before goin down that road.

Sure did, really needing a remap soon. Got it booked in for a full powerflow exhaust and have a set of Piper cams sitting waiting to go in.

Does anyone know where I can get a remap????????
