pointless mounting the ps2 in the boot as u'd have to do some crazy wiring for controllers and its akwward changing games!

why don't you do the screen as said and then put the dvd player under your seat?

Wireless controllers - that would save the problem of wires...

As for the changeing of games
- you cant have bloody everything

Here is a copy of a post I made on this a while ago:
I have put a ps2 in my brothers voyager and there are 2 ways to do it:
1 use an inverter to power it from somewhere like maplins cost about £20-£30, but these use a lot of power as you go from 12v to 230v and when the ps2 get's it it converts that to something like 5v.
or:
2 do what I did and get a new power board to convert stright from 12v down to 5v or whatever it is, this uses less of your cars power and in my opinion is safer than 230v in your car! also takes up no space as it is inside the ps2 and an inverter can be bulky.
The kit that I used had full instructions but did cost £90.
You can get this from http://www.bigcattech.com/products.asp?c=1&s=5&i=1
Hope this helps
