Noonster and I have come up with December 4/5 to have the next meet. We think its best that it just after payday so people can afford the trip up. Im thinking that we should do Redcar again like, its really easy to find and if people are stuck for directions, then i can meet people somewhere and convoy up to redcar! :thumbs:
Good idea i am up for that. Conrad sxi i could of swore i saw your car on saturday night leaving the ugc cinema in boro. if it was you i was just about to get into my car dunno if you noticed it it is silver.

it may have been me mate, ill have just been to work and i parked my car in UGC car park. i didnt notice you though mate. there is no pizza hut in redcar BUT, we can convoy on the A66 and go to teesside park once we've chatted n stuff!
^^ is Teeside park far then??
Would it not just be easier to have the meet there??

you know what? yes it would be easier! teesside park it is! its a lot closer than redcar too!
Teeside park would probably be better. not only has it got fast food but its only down the road from me.
When all two of us were at the last north east cruise smacke said we should have one at teeside park?

So when it says 4th/ 5th which is it to be, and what days are the 4th and 5th.

its a bit far to go for me!!! i used to live in seahouses about an hour from newcastle so i could find it easily!!! but live in nantwich now and would take about 4 hours getting up their!!! couldn't we meet anywhere else????

Anyway, you are lookiong at about 45 mins south of Newcastle for this one. Try and get to one of the meets nearer to you, or even start one yourself mate

Tis an easy one mate, get on the A19, through the tunnel and when you get to middlesbro, it's the showcase cimena etc on your right. You'll have to get an A-Z for road details or autoroute or something. I'll look into Map & Directions for north and south travellers later on.

right, im just letting everybody know that i will not be attending this meet as i now have a bog standard corsa. the 17's have gone, the tints are off, mirrors are gone, i have nothing left on the car but a standard corsa. im in **** loads of debt and al i did when i got money is try n make the car look better. i need to grow up, i have had enough of showing off, i need to be an adult in the situation that im in. too much debt! so i need to pay the things that are gonna keep me out of prison lol! im sorry guys, ill be leaving the forum too :sad:

It aint all too bad i doing ma card on a budget at moment n u may think ur indebt alot but i probably beating u lol as i have 2 n half grand split between 2 loans and the cars worth 15k after i finish the finance in a few years... just cut back and go slow i limiting myself to one thing a month althou after newyear i shud have a new body kit in ma garage ^.^ just cut back on what u dont need try walk more places, if you can afford the meet go.. dont let debts tie you down completely i learned a lot from going in debt and now i slowly on the way up just hang in there..
Warning to any of u lot who havent got credit cards and want em
Listen to ur parents n listen to me... only have a credit card if u know 110% u ll have the cash before the payments due as i found this out the hard way dont go overdrawn with your account and if u get letters offering credit cards burn em cos they truely are a nightmare even to ppl who think they can afford em :p

Right, I'm getting my Astra tinted in the morning (8:30) and then I can make it, but it looks like everyone has cried off.
The problem we have here is we are trying to span too big a region, and the venue is in the wrong place.
I will check here again in the morning to see who else is going, otherwise I aint gonna waste 2 hours of my day to visit smacke! (No offense mate, but it's a long way to have a chat :wink: )
When 1st proposed, I suggested it was too late in the year and too cold and even both parties organising this have pulled out now!
In the new year we need to seriously need to look into the regions we are covering and maybe divide this forum up, but we'll see.
So far we have a pointless 3!

looks like a dead loss to me, which is a big shame coz i've not been to a meet yet and was looknig forward to this - even washed the car 2day!
thats 2 now that have been called off - i think kash is right saying the area is too big/venue wrong, think we need to keep the dirivng time to a minimal when we call it a region, even though boro is less than an hour for me
if anything happens kash - let me know u have my number, but looks like a no go AGAIN :(
So someone suggest somewhere to meet in the new year. but it has to be somewhere sort of central to everyone and also sowhere big and easy to aim for. i am from hartlepool and i dont think every one could find jacksons landing at the meet previous to this one. Teeside retail park is a big place and probably would have been a good place to meet. Why doesnt everyone suggest somewhere to meet and then we can all vote and decide were to go.
Also i would say, that if your going to go, go. but dont say your going and then not go. This applys to everyone. So we should organise it for a month or a couple of months so that everyone has time to get time of work or whatever.
As I said earlier, we need to look into region and organisers in the new year as nothing is going to happen til February now as it's too cold and too busy to sort out.

kash your from newcastle why cant we have a meet at spillers one weekend in febuary there. therefore everyone who went to the redcar cruise before could meet there, smacke could lead the convoy to teeside park where me and anyone from boro and surroundings could meet and then drive down the A19 to newcastle and meet peeps from tyneside in spillers at newcastle.
Exact;y mate, that was my point earlier. We are trying to accomodate people from yorkshire in a NE meet. NE meets should b nearer the Newcastle area IMO and if the yorkies want to come then will have to travel.
In the same way, When there is a Yorks. meet, then if we want to attend then we will have to travel and accept that.
I did just that with the NW meet which was a three and a half hour drive for me, but it was my choice to travel it. If I want to attend an essex meet to catch up with the guys then I will, but we must sort and define regions first before we can sort out things like this.
