Crossovers

How do I work out where to set the crossover to on my amp for my sub? I can adjust lp x-over from 30-250hz and my sub is a kenwood kfcw-3005 12" 700w max (175w) rms enclosed in a sealed enclosure (1 cu ft volume) if thats any help :D

i think lp-x refers to the low pass filter mate.
this means it will only play certain frequencies over you sub.
i am running all below 80hz through the sub but depending
on the speakers you are running you will have to adjust this.
if you are using an aftermarket head unit it would pay to
adjust the pass filters from that to give you a more accurate
setup 8)

Start at 150Hz and work downwards, jumping in and out of the driver's seat til you find what you like.
