View Full Version : South Central Meet: Next Wycombe Meet!! - 24th Sept
Right as this is always a popular meet thought we should start to talk about dates for the next one.
Choices are:
Sunday 27th Aug (before Trax)
Sunday 10th Sept (after Trax)
Sunday 24th Sept (giving people plenty of time to get time off work etc so they can make the meet!)
Will be looking to meet at 3pm again, and if anyone has any ideas what you wanna do then let us know. Personally like the idea of getting some food as its a good chance to get to know people!
Also need to decide if meeting at the same place. Makes sense as most people know where it is!

Think the arguement was that there isnt one very often up that way so was decided we would do one on the bank holiday so people didnt have an excuse not to go.
Would be good to make the effort to travel round the area a bit? Im bloody miles away but will be there!

Judging on the results of the poll and if I know Slugger he will probably organise two meets on 27th Aug and Sept 24th?! Nicely spaced apart and keeps a regular pattern of meets then. What is everyone elses thoughts on this idea?

Only problem I can see with a big meet on 28th is a few of the people in the Southampton/Portsmouth area work weekdays and wouldn't be able to make it. I live nr Bristol and work in Southampton on the weekends so Sunday evenings are ideal for me to go to meets almost anywhere in the South as I can just adjust my route to suit.
I'll speak with Slugger on Friday and see what everyone else down here is able to do!

lol! I just realised that! I work in a retail store on Fri,Sat,Sun and on Mon will be working till 6pm, so I'm sure I can make this one, so yeah 28th probably would be a good day to form some convoys and have a big meet :woops:

I have to agree with Matt and M2C that there is little point doing it on the 27th as there is the meet in MK on the 28th. Would just like to see the MK meet being much bigger rather than two small ones.
BUT. If there is enough interest nothing stopping you organising a mini meet and then I will help organise the High Wycombe meet for the 24th Sept, sorta like the official one. (would help with the mini meet as well if needed)
