I know that kev_corsa has done it and it fits not sure about if the glovebox needs to be modded though. How about getting the new smaller version of the PS2?

yeah its an idea but a mate will give me his PS2 for a tenner so im after that he is getting the slim one.

You have to cut back of glove box. Nothing major but if you look inside it kinks in- just cut that bit and your wires can then drop down there and your ps2 fits in

Si, this nice new smaller version requires you to lift the lid (like a PS1) to insert a disc, unlike the original which has a linear skate tray mechanism.

yeah so not much use really- unless there is space to get lid up enough to get a cd in- never know there may be

ive seen the new one and its tiny so ther may just be enough. either that or i could mount it on some kind of slide out and have it out of the box when in use.

As long as you put a locking mechanism on the slider you should be OK otherwise you'll get a knock everytime you pull away or brake!!!

Mine is under the passenger seat as it won't fit in box.

So sounds like it depends if you have air con or not (I have!)

yer, u just slide it out onto the flat of the open glove box door. Simple and prob easiest way to do it....the install only took a couple of hours. dave

^^^ Does that not defeat the purpose of installing it permanaetly :? Also does it not rattle about in there?

i didnt want it to be completely permanent, as i use it in the house 2 :).....also as its on polystyrene it doesn't rattle at all....the polystyrene just squeaks a little lol
