Installed the Radio But....

....the damn thing has nothing to support i have taken out the old frame holding the orignial unit in and placed the facia in i called a local ice place in Purley, Croydon and he said 'yeah just slide it in and it should fit!'

Help needed!

i molded the standard corsa frame to fit mine.

I sorted it but im still not convinced it's stable being held by the facia. I took out the cage the original radio was held by, and bought another facia from Halfords. The radio is in ok but its still at an angle facing up.

I think it's because there is nothing supporting the HU @ the back.

you put the HU cage in the single DIN slot hole in the fascia yeah?

Are you sure its not hanging out a little because of wires bulged up at the back, my old one kept doing that.

Yeah. inside the HU cage there are little catches so i bent some outwards and it worked.

Had to go to my local Ice shop to sort out the HU being on continuous even if the Ignition is off.

The wires are all in ok nothings sticking out.
