stereo release keys

hiya havent posted in a while and im sorry for that been really busy was just wondering if any body knew how much a set of stereo release keys from a vauxhall dealer would be as am lookin to swap standard head unit for an aftermarket alpine and full system with front comps and sub and amp any help would be great thanx jonny

a small allan key will do it for free

what take out grub screws wit allen key den use it to pull the head unit owt as well?

yep then gently pull it out, or use the keys from the new HU

Autoleads ones for £5. Was still a bit of a pain in the arse as it's in there pretty tight!

my vx dealership said they dont sell them so wouldnt bother going there!

Just nip into Halfords, I tried doing mine with some allen keys but had no joy. If you go to Vauxhall they'll charge you around £30 to fit your stereo.

£3.99 halfords - like 2 big "U" shaped things

yep then gently pull it out, or use the keys from the new HU

you wont be able to pull it out with a allen key the only way to get it out is the release keys for the corsa halfords sell them cheap the keys from the new hu wouldnt work there mostly different shapes

thanx guys has helped loads there are sum on ebay for 3 quid and 1 postage but if they are 3 from halfords i will have a trip down

whats the dif between the big and small ones? i know it sounds stupid but i mean other then size what dif does the extra 2 quid make

I just asked VX to remove mine n it took 2mins and no need to buy the keys yourself

u need the big 1's for the C
only car ive seen that need them

smaller 1's are for like a vectra,astra, 106
