View Full Version : Boot Build Advice
Hi all -
I know there are various pictures of boot builds scattered around - BUt I was wondering if you could all post yours - and any advice you may have having built one yourself.
Next weekend I am aiming to put into a build -
2x Amps and 1 12" sub in a custom box (normal looking - just designed for the sub)
currently I plan to create a floor at the bottom in carpetted mdf, then a false floor around the subbox - sub facing up.
If anyone has any pictures or usefull input then it'd be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

I don't know to be honest, I took it to the shop (world of ice) and they made it for the sub.
It looks pretty small compared to yours, certainly nowhere near as tall.
Ill try get a picture of what i'm working with.

Ah yes, nice.
I tried to get my sub facing that way but box doesnt allow.
Missus has one of those green fusion amps - i Will probably get slated but her fusion sub and amp sounds pretty good for the money.
yeah, they come in a ported box, like VIBE, so they sound loud, but with no quality )
ya but the rest of her setup is not done for quality either so overall it doesn't sound too bad for the cash :)
I have finally got my setup sounding how I want - just need to get the boot done and i can Finally just get in, drive, and listen. :L)
Did my boot build today - Will figure out how to get the pics from my phone and post em up - Looks awesome.
Took about 4 Hours including going to shops to get materials etc.
