Hi guys,
finally got my comps in with the new tweeter pods (will post pics when painted better!) and just trying to get my setup sounding right.

my amp (for the comps) has a few settings and im not sure exactly whats best so if you can help it would be great

settings are:
Gain - have set to lowish
Bass boost - 0
x-over freq - 50 (this is the major one im not sure about)

any help would be great

Cheers
Rick

hmm i would assume as it is not a mono amp that the cross over will mean 50Hz high pass

meaning all sounds of a frequency of 50Hz or above will be reaching the comps

yeah thats what i thought it might mean, what do i want it to be?

its a two channel kicker amp

have a play around see what it sounds like the lower you go the more strain you will put on the speaker at higher levels but if the amp gains are set ok it should be fine i would try it on flat or full range depends on what its called

my setting is analogue so i can pick any freq, 50 is the lowest setting - i'll have a play see what happens

your comps 2 way or 3 way?

obv. if 3 way you can put lower freq through it.
