Constant DC supply

does anybody no where there is a constance supply from the battery that i can tap into for the central locking im installing, dnt just say connect to battery :P

i dont know of any others. for the sake of a £3 5 meter length of cable from halfrauds, why not run direct from batt :P

my central locking kit just arrived and theres a red wire that i need to connect a constanc supply, how would i go about connecting it to the battery? wud it be straight onto the metal bit on the battery or to sumwhere in the fuse box?

you can run it from the positive terminal on the battery where everything clips on. IMO this is easiest. however, you can run it from the fuse box if you fancy. i didnt bother tbh. Just run it from batt. I don’t think there is a constant 12V supply any where in the car, except from the batt, and in the radio loom... don’t quote me on that though :P
