gonna install my jbl 4 channel amp today, looks pretty straightforward, just wondering:

I don't think I'll need to run two remote wires is this right? But I will need to run another AUX line from my headunit's front output? its gonna be a pretty tight sqeeze down the right hand side, if i have an rca, two aux and my front speaker cable as well!

Everything else looks pretty straightforward as I read the manual. unlike most people lol

i have 4 RCA's, 3 thin power cables, 2 pairs of speaker wire coming down the side of my car, i just opend up the "black boxes” that clip into the body metal that the standard wires run through, and I poked them in here. you wont need to run another remote, if u need two, you can always just split your original one :P as for the AUX cable you mention… do you mean you need to run another RCA down the side? You can do this if you want to have the control from your HU, or if your lazy n don’t really care you can buy a shorter RCA and daisy chain the amp to its self.

Yeah there's an input on the amp for a phono for the rear and for the front. And im assuming I'll need to run a phono from the sub output on my headunit AND from the front output. It's no skin off my back to do this, as I need to run my speaker cable thru anyway.

aaaah..

you running sub n comps from this one amp?

in that case sub out RCA/Phono to rear channel, front pre out RCA/Phono to front channel.

But im sure you knew that anway mate...? :dontknow:

12v+water wont do much anyway, iv cut through live 240v lighting cable with a pair or side cutters without insulation before, that hurts

ARGH its doing it again! what would be causing it? Its only the left tweeter doing it not the mid! making me think its more likely too close to the door wiring not the boot wiring! hmmm

well if moving the power cable solved it last time, try securing it away...

have you got sheilded RCA's?
