Just got in from starting the first part of my install, i'm gonna do it in stages each night becase i dont get too much time on it because of work then gym and the pub of course! Anyways i brought 4awg wire as told to by people using this forum, i have fit the in-line fuse near the battery and fed it through to behind the glove box, i had to push the grommet out and then fed it from the inside out to the battery, this black wire next to it i've read is my rear washer jet? If so is it ok that the wires are against the bare metal?? I'm really worried that its going to get cut but the gap is that tight i cant fit anything else in to protect it! Any help would be appreciated!

just fill it up with polyfilla or bathroom sealant then black tape over the top

so theres no risk of the jet washer wire gettin cut?
well vibration could cause the pipe to rub against body metal n split. just squirt some tiger seal or some other polymer based glue in there.
sorted.

it only effects what you change... so you have lost your warrent on the gromit :( but still got it for everything else you havent touched :D

filling it with sealent is just to stop the rubing... i drove around with no gromit for months, i never got any leaks.
