Hi , i know it has been asked many times , but does anyone know how to put a CD30 Headunit ,out of an 05 Model in to an 03 , surly somone somwhere knows how to get round this , the problem with decoding etc is not a problem as i know someone that has one it to work with any o5 plus corsa , its just the bloody wiering.

You can't. 05 on uses a totally different connection set up to older models and there's no way that I am aware of to do this.

Buy a facia kit with wiring adapter and fit an off the shelf ISO head unit.

Yes , but belive it or not theBxxxxxterds caused nearly 2.500 pounds worth of damage ie. new door repair scratches , new dash etc , of the road for 3 weeks , all for a poxy kenwood head unit , hence i want to put a standerd head unit in there

p.s . if i find out who done it they will have to be capped , and thats a promise

Had my head unit robbed a few weeks go, although they didn't do nearly as much damage as that. A very tidy job they made of it. Must be lots of practice... :roll:

Sounds like you need to find a pre-facelift VX head unit then.

think theres about 3 on sale on ebay at the moment mate
