Anyone got this? Is this double din to fit a DVD player in as well as the unit?
Prefer one that is a DVD player in one and will put out good sound to infinity speakers. Anyone have any ideas on a good dvd player?
Hi, i;ve got this HU, it doersnt play dvd's/cd's in the HU, you need a seperate unit, but it is single din and looks pimp in the dash - i have plugged mine into my ipod so dont need cd player anyway and got all the steering controls for it as well - not heard of a better car/ipod set up!!! :)
So where would the second DVD player go? Double din in effect wouldn't I have to fibre glass a panel or something?
Is there not just another player that is all in one single din?
run the cables to the glove box and maybe fibreglass a little section in there could also build in a disk holder or summit.

something like this would help with size.
Either get a better alpine head unit all built in or just buy the Alpine: CVA-1014RB and get a slimline ps2 in your boot :)
im liking the ipod idea at the moment as its cheap and you can carry your music wherever you go.
yeh i never go anywhere without my ipod now, have driven for miles and miles and not heard the same song twice - and they are all in rich perfect quality!!! :) no crackling fm receiver and all neatly tucked away in my glovebox! note to self tho, dont leave ipod in over nite as some bugger will bend your passenger door outwards and go in your glovebox and nick your ipod, cutting your kca420i adapter cable in the process as they are too dumb to unclip it.... not that it has happened to me..... :(
sounds like an inside job to me how they know its in there.
dunno mate, was playin with it while parked up outside, maybe a passer by? who knows!
