Whoever told you that is talking rubbish, Fli stuff is brilliant. Its just a better, cheaper version on Vibe stuff as Fli is sister company to vibe and experimenting with budget gear and getting some serious results.
Ive got mates that work for local ice shops so they have to go to annual ICE sort of meetings to catch up on everything, and they all say Fli is been described as the stuff to get at the moment (if you dont want to be spending serious money on the alpine gear and above)
Ive got the 12" sub with fli commps and they sound awesome especially seen as they only cost me £250 for a full setup.

FLI is budget. budget is fine of your not serious about SQ/SPL. it sounds good. but thats it...

tbh mate, just coz a shop tells you its good, doesnt mean it is... 99% of ice shops still say power caps are the way forward

back on topic-

you have given a choice of two... one is a "SPL style" set up. the other is an "SQ style" set up...

the vibe will be much louder, and will not be as crisp. the fli will give u a tighter/better response, but wont drop as low...

so go for what ever of those options u want most

why is everyone cussing fly stuff for, yea its cack compared to an £1000 system lol. but we are talking a measly £100 quid here lol, the only other alternative at that price is a motoroworld SPLX sub, now thats what i call KAK.

for the price, its good value. I have owned one fo these before, it did the job, performed better than i had expected infact. But if u are prepared to spend more for some better quality stuff, then yea do so. Best thing about that sub is its so such a small enclosure and with a built in amp, saves even more space! it looks alright aswell and has some good quality carpet on it lol. Its also light, not weighing and slowing ur car down like a bitch.

give it a shot, i doubt u will be disappointed for the cost. its well cheap on ebay aswell, for a new one.

they will say yes, and then rob about £50 off of you.

the sub will alread come wired to the built in amp. all you need to do is send power to the amp, earth the amp, send a remote lead from the HU to the amp, and a set of RCA/Phono leads from your HU to the amp. this is easy, it shows you how in ICE sticky :D
