here goes,

today ive fitted for a matea magnat 600w amp, 12" infinty sub, and some inifinty 6x9s. hes got a alpine headunit with only one pre out, the amp is 4 channel.

the problem i came across is that i can not get the sub and the 6x9s to wrok at the same time, ive used channel 1 for 1 6x9 channel 2 for the other and channel 3 and 4 i have bridged the sub?

is this ok? or have i done something wrong ?

any advice would be apreciated cheers danny

no what you have done is correct, you can get a splitter for the pre-out wires to split them into the two set of connections on the amp

just make sure that you use the correct filters for the sub

agreed. also, have you bridged the right terminals?

try hooking 6x9 up to one of the channel 3 or 4 and see if that works, as said - your cross overs could be set to the wrong level.

nice one for that lads whats the right filter to be using for the sub? or is that also the cross over ?

yeah same thing i would but it at 80Hz low pass and if it has a variable cross over slope then set it as steep as possible
