been thinkin of gettin some sounds in to my car! and posabilty a boot build! (like dittons bootbuild) tbh i have no idea on ice! been lookin for a set of subs and came across these on my local cruse site!

they are Alpine Bass ZR SWR-3040 12" Subwoofers hes lookin £85 for each sub! what do u's recon ??

thats too much second hand they are an older model as well i think, or at least i dont recognise them

i would look elsewhere

they are 300 watts rms. the equivalent alpines of the current range would only cost you £89 each brand new http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/2841.html

ive never heard of these ones your showing, i think their foreign ones from the japanese market :|. But alpine is good gear

you can get a type s for £100 or spend a bit more and get a type r

i have a 10" type r, its 300 watts rms, and shakes the doorcards in the front of my car, lmao. i cant use any mirrors when i have it on loud, as they vibrate to madly.

even vibrates the hair on your head, i really cant understand why you'd need more than that, lol.

and resize your pics to conform with house rules please ;)


old subs, used alot = potential crispy voice coils.

im assuming however, all your interested in is looks, as 2 x 12's in sealed boxes is the worst thing to do if you want SPL OR SQ... so on that note, just get some cheapo things that look good, maybe..

lol, ive got the 12" but only running it at about 400W and i know what you mean, feels really strange

i dont have one now. its been sold to a member off of here.

post a budget and whether your into SPL SQ or looks and people will be able to show you some stuff

i use to have 2 of them subs in mine! there freakin loud plus wen they were new they were top of range and quite expensive! neva went wrong and like i said soubnded awesome with right amp

sorry, i shouldve bolded the word BEST.

you rate them over a DLS/Geni set up :o
