New rear 6x9 instead of HU?

OK on a much tighter budget now but still want to finish my interior sound. I have standard HU atm with £100 Infinity Refs tweets comps and cross-over boxs at front. The only problem is now the front is so clear but the rear 700W speakers I have are null and void. You can't hear any bassy sounds at all compared to when I had my standard front speakers in.

I'm wondering if this is simply because the Infinities give out more sound at lower volumes than the rears so its like having the front turned up and rear turned down... or its because the rears are **** compared to them.

Whatever the case I am happy with the sound as it is now very clear voices and high pitch noises thanks to the Infinities but would like that bassy noise back for those deep songs.

My question is, would getting Infinities at the back to (6x9s £50 from halfords or somewhere) give me back that bass? Without having to get a new HU?

they will give you some bass and some rear fill yes ;)

if you just want bass, not really looking for rear fill - and you want it deeper and louder than 6x9s, you should maybe look at a sub,box,amp deal.

dont have a sub and 6x9s though ;)
