how have you wired it with out a terminal have you wired it straight to the subs connectors
i am not totally sure what you mean tbh
you will need a terminal to connect to on the outside of the sub box for sure
if you have just got a hole with the cables running through it the box wont work how its designed to and will sound ****e, seal the hole up where the wires are and should sound loads better.
i think thats what you mean lol

the cheeky bugger that fitted it stole my wire well annoyed alot of it too. They are sly! cheers
so your sub box had a hole in the side where wires were going through :|
i hope this didnt bugger up your sub... this is a way of tuning your box, and playing freq's below that of the tuned box will cause damage to the driver, and as it was just a random hole, you wont know the freq of the badly deisgned box - i wouldnt play the sub again untill it is properly sealed..

hey yeah its where the terminal should be, i bought the terminal can someone please help me fit it. Dilled the holes, on the back of the terminal what are you meat to do with them i understand the otherside the red and black screw caps cause you can put the speaker wire through and tighten them like an amp but the metal bits i haven't a clue.
help me need it done today, thanks for your help anyone
on the inside you solder speaker wire for the sub to the little tabs on the back of the terminal.

bugger i wish i had a solder iron, so ya just get the copper speaker wire and solder it to the metal bits wish someone had a pic.
why do you need a pic? its not hard to work out, the screw terminals go on the outside, you solder the wire that will go into the sub itself onto the tabs on the insude and your done.

cheers for you help, but i dont know anyone with a soldering iron gettin it done at a audi place rip off but it'll be done.Cheers everyone im a numpty
:\ you could just drill a how in the terminal, and poke the wire thought, then fill the hole in with polyfiller or glue or something.. thats what i did. better than a terminal IMO.. although when ever you want to move it, you have to disconnect at the amp end
