Headunit problem

I have an Alpine cda-9855, over the last few days when i push the menu or the playlist button the headunit will turn off along with the mfd, then come back on again. Any ideas what this can be? was ok before.

eurg... check you're connections. and also, did u cut the wire mentioned inthe sticky to keep the date on your MFD?
