they said they cant do it because they cant get the power cable 10awg to the boot? does anyone with a 2006 model facelift sxi+ got the wire to the boot and how

LOL - take it somewhere with a clue.

I have 0AWG running to my boot.

alternatively look up the tutorial on here - you run it through the back of your glovebox.

hope this helps - also don't pay them a penny if they can't run a stupidly small power cable to the boot.

What sub are you trying to run from a 10awg?

behind the glove box mate. its like a double gromit thing iirc... push a knife through it, then thread a needle through with string, and attatch the string to your wire ;)

10awg = 6mm˛ = 32A Current carrying capacity

32A on a 12V system is 384W. At a peak of 14.4V the that equates to 460W

As long as you are running 400W or less Amplifier then you need a bigger cable!

is that RMS because this cabling come with the sub pack inwhich i bought

List details of the sub+amp pack you have bought.

8awg is the lowest i've seen in the packs.

no, thats peak.

but the type of amp using 10awg will need a bolt of lightening to hit it to make it anywhere near peak...

Not a chance in hell - if its wired up right and has the correct size fuse ;)
