right.

are all speakers running from hu, or are they all running from an external amp, or are fronts from an external amp and rears from hu?

it sounds to me like a bad power connection round the back of the HU. try running a 10amp fused supply direct from batt to see if that solves it.

check the fuse for the amps if you have any,

i had similar problem with min which was the fuse in the live wire from the battery

they are all running from the HU, sometimes the speakers crackle and hiss? and it was fine all last night too? i use them autoleads adaptor things but in some occasions i needed to join 2 wires together, so i used terminal blocks, maybe its a bad connection?

get some spade connectors or somthin like that.

but im no good at crimping, and also if i cut them, means that i cant return the original speakers back in and they are connected via the blocks

i dnt think thats whats causing them to all cut out tho? because ive had the rear speakers work without having the fronts connected

nope thats right it shouldnt cause them 2 cut out like that, check the wires behinde ur hu for that.

but the autoleads things r awful. if u leave urself anough slack 2 can recconect the original vxl block when/if u return the car 2 standard.

would advice u 2 make new connections tho as i dont know anyone who has got those autolead blocks 2 work properly, cos well they dont.

try hooking aup a perminant 12V supply from the batery with a 10 amp fuse in the wire about 8" away from the battery itself..
